Learning fashion design builds focus, creativity, and discipline through hands-on design and garment creation. Students develop teamwork, initiative, and confidence while experiencing the joy and fulfillment of creating something unique. It offers both personal fulfillment and joy, making fashion design a uniquely enriching extracurricular experience.
Students begin with basic sewing techniques, threading, simple hand stitches, and fabric samplers, progressing to machine projects. They learn body proportions, anatomy, and dynamic figure poses, developing skills in sketching, garment styling, and color rendering. Through guided exploration, students refine their personal fashion style and, at the intermediate level, are introduced to creative styling and advanced design concepts, preparing them for more complex fashion projects.
